On the afternoon of October 23, Professor Howell Tong, Distinguished Visiting Professor of Tsinghua University and Emeritus Professor in Statistics of the London School of Economics and Political Science, visited XMU College of Economics and gave a Nanqiang lecture titled “Threshold models in time series analysis: 40 odd years on”. Prof. Yinggang Zhou, dean of the School of Economics and director of the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics, presented Prof. Howell Tong with a plaque commemorating the wonderful Nanqiang Lecture he delivered.
